Outstanding Bed Selection Process!

The purchase of our mattress and bed from Axelbloom has been nothing short of fantastic on every level. The owners, Bonnie and Yong,provided us with the kind of service and attention to detail that is almost non existent in this day and age. The entire process, from purchase to delivery, was outstanding.

We turned to Axelbloom to improve our sleeping experience after years of purchasing various so-called premium mattresses based upon a
review that we read, possibly in the NY Times. When we entered the modern and stylish showroom in Westwood, we knew that the buying experience was going to be professional, fact-based, and low key. Each of the models was explained to us with plenty of time to think, feel and discuss without pressure or time constraints. We purchased the Berlin Mattress and were thoroughly satisfied after it was delivered and set up by the staff of Axelbloom. We subsequently purchased a bed after
completing a remodel. The bed and mattress reflect exacting European craftsmanship in a classic and sleek design. The mattress has truly provided us with THE BEST sleeping experience.

In fact, we were so happy with the mattress that when it came time to purchase a guest bed for our study we called Yong and Bonnie for a referral, and we so happy to learn they were expanding into that line of products. We have just purchased a custom daybed/couch from them for our guests so they too can truly have a good night sleep.

The entire process was again professional, courteous, and detail oriented from
purchase to installation.

Trustworthy, Knowledgeable Professionalism

When I asked the gentleman at "Relax Your Back" about custom sizing, he said that was something I would have to accomplish after my initial purchase from the factory and could run me an additional cost of $1,000 or more. That was quite a different scenario than the earlier phone conversation with Tempurpedic - which suggested that by purchasing a Queen size mattress, I would pay an additional $300 to cut it down to the size I needed. I quickly left and again called our friends on the 1.800 Tempurpedic line. Now a new story emerged, "No sir, we do not do custom sizes". So depending on who picks up the phone on any given day, there lies your overpriced fate.

Remembering a distinctly familiar ad in the Los Angeles Times, I opened the newspaper and there it was as my mind had remembered it: AXEL BLOOM. Immediately, I called their store located minutes from home and found the angelic voice of one lovely woman named Cara. To all my questions, Cara spoke the words of a consumer's dream: "yes, yes, yes, yes," and "of course."

Putting down the phone with that all too infrequent feeling of "WOW, I just spoke to a wonderfully knowledgeable professional!!," my fiance and I popped over to the store and were greeted by Cara. She expertly guided us on a full tour of their product line and again reiterated that at AXEL BLOOM, anything was possible. We thanked Cara kindly and said we would mull over our options.

Just as we were about to leave, this super enigmatic character blew through the door:"Good afternoon, my name is Yong." Introducing himself as the owner of this fine establishment, we raved to him about his product and how wonderful Cara was. Next, Yong personally guided us through his product line. This would mark the beginning of what would become a wonderful, and now a yearlong friendship with Yong and his family.

No Compressed and Sagging Mattresses

Dear Yong, Bonnie, and Cara,

Thank you for all your help during my recent bed purchase. I came into the store after neighbors told me they loved the new bed they had bought from you. I was fed up with pillowtop innerspring mattresses that become compressed and saggy after only a few years of use, and was looking for an alternative.

I appreciate the fact that you recommended the less expensive beds and that you all were so helpful about the various options. It is clear that you care about customer happiness and put a priority on the sort of customer service that matters.

Most important, however, is the bed. Although the feel of it is quite a bit firmer than the old pillowtops, it is very comfortable and I am sleeping far more soundly than I have in a long time. Thanks again.

Comfortable with the Owners and Our Purchase!

So, for the past 9 months, my husband and I have been sleeping on the first version of the sleep number bed. As time has gone by, the bed required us to adjust the firmness of the bed on a day basis. Over the past few weeks, the firmness we set did not even last through the night. After sleeping on a deflated balloon for about two weeks, we took the suggestion from a very good friend and visited Axel Bloom in Westwood, CA.

I called the store and spoke to Bonnie, who was very warm and told us to just come in and try the beds out. I gave her my name and told her that we would be there later that day. Upon entering, Bonnie welcomed me and my husband by first name. Then Yong came and told us about how they were expecting us all afternoon. My reason for mentioning all this is because, both Yong and Bonnie, really made us feel comfortable and special, not like just another customer.

Yong gave us the tour and explanation about the slat systems and the mattresses. We tried a few out. Yong spend extra time with us adjusting the slats/mattresses to ensure we get the exact comfort level that we needed. We fell in love with it. Words cannot express the comfort level of being on the Axel Bloom beds verse being on any other bed.

Yong and Bonnie worked very hard at putting together an unbeatable deal for us. Of course, the cost seems high at first, but after thinking about what we are paying for - a bed that will mostly last you a lifetime, $$$ saved on medical or chiropractor bills, and restful sleep through the night, it was an easy decision to move forward with the purchase.

In the past, I have spent about $1,000 on a nice bed and box spring that began to sink in 2 years, even turning the mattresses did not really change/affect anything. The Axel Bloom beds will probably last 15+ years - without sinking! As for the experience of sleeping, for the first time in a long time, I was able to sleep through the entire night and wake up the next morning completely rested and refreshed! That itself is priceless!

My husband and I also decided to go ahead and purchase the slat system that is motorized. Since both of us are on our feet all day, we love the feature of being able to elevate our legs (without a ton of pillows) and/or being able to prop up to watch TV/read in bed. No need to by a separate recliner!

We also purchased the pillows. They are awesome! They contour to your head and neck perfectly! A must have!

Delivery was very easy as well. Yong and a few of his workers came and put the bed together in no time. They were prompt, quick and clean!

I would HIGHLY recommend anyone that is in the market to buy a bed to visit Axel Bloom. It will change your life!

Range of Motion

Hi Yong,

Just a quick note to let you know I love the bed!! The last two nights have been the best rest I've gotten in a long time. I am particularly impressed with how smooth the motor adjusts the bed as well as the range of motion.
